So, we got covered in snow this week (that’s my backyard). It started Tuesday and didn’t stop until late Thursday. Suffice it to say, we are not equipped to deal with this kind of weather. Everything shut down. I haven’t left the house since last Saturday afternoon. It’s a good thing I’m a homebody, or I’d be going nuts! In keeping with my goal of developing the habit of getting dressed every day, I got dressed every day! 😉
Saturday: I rocked my new frock.
Sunday: Casual in double denim and a graphic tee.
Monday: Reds.
Tuesday: I dressed for my Top Five Tuesday theme.
Wednesday: More stripes on stripes, inspired by this outfit. Her style is so great, tons of people are still pinning & copying her, 18 months after she stopped blogging!
Thursday: I geeked out! Inspired by Maricel. 🙂
Friday: Happy Valentine’s Day! I just love that this shirt looked red on Monday, but when paired with this sweatshirt & shoes, it looks purple! Also, I’d like to point out that everything I’m wearing here was also worn earlier in the week – re-mixing rocks!
I love these weekly recaps! Keep ’em coming! And that pic of snow is fantastic. It’s so hot over here in SoCal, we had to turn on the AC to sleep. Yeah, you think that’s great now but you don’t have a ginormous electric bill at the end of the month, I bet.
Btw, come check out today’s post on my blog. I nominated you for an award. Please don’t feel obligated to do much with it except bask in the fact that you’re super cool. I really just wanted to recognize my peeps, and I am honored to consider you one of them.

I’m glad you like the weekly recaps. I’m really enjoying blogging about other style / book related things during the week, but since one of my goals is getting dressed in REAL clothes every day, I figured a weekly post would keep me honest. 🙂
The snow picture was taken Thursday. Next Thursday we’re supposed to be in the 70s. They say you know you live in the SE when you have to run your heat and AC on the same day. My natural gas bill is really high this month (we can’t do EPP on gas or power right now because we moved – ugh).
