Weekly Outfit Recap: Vacation Outfits +

Vacation: The sweatshirt dress and leggings was my travel outfit (both to and from the beach). The denim cutoffs were my workhorse piece. I never even wore the cargo pants or purple button down that I packed!

Sunday: Bright and Spring-y for Mother’s Day.

Monday: I LOVE the mixture of the uber feminine Marilyn with cargo pants! It reminds me of Marilyn’s USO tour photos, courtesy of the USMC.

Tuesday: It’s warming up!

Wednesday: Super casual today.

Thursday: it’s turned cold and rainy today, so I’m staying cozy inside. 😉

Starting next Friday, I’m going to change up my Friday posts a bit. Instead of just posting outfits, I’m going to include info about books I’ve been reading, links to favorite posts from other bloggers, and a teaser about upcoming posts. I’m modeling the idea after Amanda’s In Bed With Badger posts.

This week, I have so many favorites, I can’t even call them favorites! J’adore the lace tank, maxi dress, Marilyn ensemble, Revolution tee (Did I ever tell you that our 1st semester project is called Project Revolution? That tee would’ve been perfect for me to wear during presentation!), and floral sweatshirt.

Did you ever say where you went on your vacay? Was it a staycation at a nearby beach or did you guys travel? Also, I’m totally jealous that your weather turned cold; we’ve been at triple digits all week over here. :/

Revisions to Friday posts sounds intriguing. Can’t wait!

I’m glad you like everything! Marilyn is my favorite. 😉

We went to Myrtle Beach, SC. It’s the closest beach – about 4 hours from home.
We’ve been hovering around 90 for the past week, so a rainy dip into the 70s feels great, but it won’t last long.

Haha! I try to pack light, but also make sure I have “contingency” clothes. If I’d needed to go an extra day before doing laundry, or there had been a cold snap (like we’re having at home today), the extra button-down and cargo pants would’ve been needed. That sweatshirt dress and leggings are SOOO comfy – perfect for traveling!
