I’m linking up with Whitney @ Whitney à la mode and Alex @ Undergraduate Style for their Blogging Besties link up. I managed to wear my floral dress as a top (the trick was the heavier weight denim skirt on top – it neatly disguised the dress underneath).
On Monday, Maricel encouraged me to dress like a Care Bear for Anne @ Spy Girl’s Inspired by a Toy 52 Pick-me-up link up. I thought about it, but couldn’t figure out how to do it within the confines of my 20 pieces. When I put this outfit on I realized that I look like Patty O’Green from Rainbow Brite! So, I’m linking up. 🙂
Alex @ Undergraduate Style and I conspired to wear matching outfits! 😉 Since Alex is a preppy girl, I paid homage to that with the draped sweater, Sperry Topsiders, and double arm party.

I take it back – forget purple! Green should be your signature color! My fave this week is the green and plaid ensemble followed very closely by the Rainbow Brite one.
Reading Clariel? So jealous. Tell me all about it…
My IT guy had the new iPhone and it’s massive. He recommended just going for the 5S instead (I have the 4S right now). What do you like about the 6? I’d like your take on it, please.
Woots! Thanks for the shout out! 😀
Haha, you say that every time I wear green. 🙂
Clariel is a prequel, set 600 years before Sabriel, so really a seperate story. It does assume that you’re familiar with the world of the Old Kingdom. So far, it’s just as good as the other books, although I’ve found a couple of typos, which bugs. More info when I’m done.
I also had the 4s, and Bert has the 5, so I can’t compare with the 5s. I love the thumbprint ID, the better quality camera, and the extra storage (I have the 64 GB).
You are REALLY making me want some converse low-tops! Love that striped dress look, and your first look – you are a wizard at restyling dresses!
I ❤ my Converse. Try Marshalls – they always seem to have Converse, and they're 1/2 off. Thank you!
Cool, I totally will, thanks!
I like the teal pullover with the plaid shirt! And the jean skirt is really cute on you.
Thanks Lark! 😀
Hahaha I love that we both chose looks inspired by each others’ style! Love your looks.
😀 It was fun!
