WEARING
I’m linking this last outfit up with Blogging Besties. My green sweatshirt is very similar to Alex’s green tee. I also threw on a tortoiseshell cuff to approximate the leopard print.

LOVING
I was showing my children the spork I got at Bojangles, and my son corrected me. “Mom, it’s a runcible spoon.”
Making Halloween costumes for my kids. This year they’re going as Flash and Splat the Cat.

My fave this week is the out-of-this-world pattern mixing of floral and plaid – am SO gonna dupe that sometime soon. I also like how you snuck in a boots outfit – have we talked about those boots before? Where’d you get them coz they’re darling and I think I want a pair.
Rereading Anne again yourself? Or with the kiddos? Aly is still unable to commit to a book. Wonder if we ought to read aloud Anne together.
“Runcible spoon”! Priceless!

I love that mix too. 😀 The ankle boots are Comfort Plus from Payless. They’re several years old, so this particular style isn’t carried anymore, but there are similar styles.
The kids and I listened to an audiobook version of Anne. I knew there were passages I wouldn’t be able to read aloud (tears!). Have you tried audiobooks for Aly? My kids love them!

BFF swears by them too but I haven’t gotten around to borrowing some. Also, I hear some aren’t as well-read as others. I hear the HP series is pretty good?

Oh yeah, HP is great! The audiobooks have been recorded by both Jim Dale and Stephen Fry. Both versions are wonderful! Of course some narrators are better than others, but plenty of well known actors do audiobook work – the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang we just finished was narrated by David Tennant, and it was FABULOUS! My local library system has eaudio recordings that I can borrow on my phone – I just had to download a free app. You should check with your library.

I just asked Aly and she said audio books are too slow for her. LOL.

The eaudio versions can be sped up.

You know, I kept thinking you were typo-ing that word but I guess not. Eaudiobooks. I get it. LOL. I’ll look into that for sure.

The sweatshirt in your first photo looks like the perfect combination of pretty and comfy! I wish I had one! Also, I’ve decided that this must be the last time I comment on your Beauty and the Beast and Audrey t-shirts. Just know from now on, every time you wear them, that I really love them!

Thanks! The first sweatshirt is from Old Navy last season. I’ve seen cute sweatshirts all over. Haha! The Audrey tee is also from Old Navy. I’m not sure if they still have this particular design, but they various Audrey designs off and on. Hot Topic is THE best place for Beauty and the Beast merchandise:

I really like the baseball T with the skirt. So cute! Also, I like the simplicity of the last outfit too, for some reason. I’ve been warming up to green lately too.
