A Bibliophile’s Restyle: Geek Out (1) THG

I had a total geek fest this weekend, starting with my Mockingjay T3 post on Thursday. On Friday I did a little closet cosplay. My husband and I went to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 on Saturday afternoon – it was different from what I was hoping, but very true to the book. I was extremely impressed with the actors, even Liam Hemsworth.  Sunday was cold and rainy, perfect weather to cook The Capitol’s Lamb Stew with Dried Plums and The Mellark Family Cheese Buns, courtesy of Alison’s Wonderland Recipes. Yum!

You look ready to take down any evil empire in this ensemble. I especially like the quilting of the top. Is this another secret Old Navy buy I have to covet?

I think I shall wait for the second half of the movie and then watch them straight through. Have yet to see Catching Fire. Come to think of it, I didn’t run out to see Maze Runner either. I think I’m about glutted on dystopia and need a break; been reading too many YA novels in that genre.
