  5. Cards on the Table 1936

If you’ve read these lists, and / or my challenge page, you’ll notice that there’s a lot of overlap. What can I say? I’m efficient. 😉

    I suppose that makes sense since lists are generally to be admired and don’t necessarily elicit commentary? But I do appreciate them and I like these because of your efficient overlap. ;p I probably need to get on the ball with classics meself.

      Funnily, my Top Ten Tuesday posts garner the most views and comments. I’m sure it’s mostly because of the link up, but still. I created the classics challenge because I OWN a bunch of classics that I either haven’t read or want to read with my kids (via audiobook usually).

    I love to see so many Agatha Christies on there and I’m pretty partial to Le Petit Prince (it’s the French teacher in me). Just out of personal curiosity, why do you do so many re-reads? As you know, I love to read but I don’t re-read very often. It does’t really appeal to me.

      A number of my re-reads are books I love and want to share with my kids. The rest are because I develop attachments to the characters and want to visit them again, or because I want to see if I glean new insight into a book that I read at an earlier period of my life (Little Women is a completely different book as a girl, a wife, and a mom).

    I’m also doing Cruisin’ Thru The Cozies and keeping track at Goodreads as you know. I’m at Level 4 – 20 books. I haven’t listed them, but did a rough count by author and have about 25 either in house or at the local library.

    I get it about the rereads. I only have a handful of books which I reread, but once in a while, when I’m really fond of a particular series and it’s characters, I like to reread them to trace the character development and/or to follow a character that I either didn’t like much in the beginning, or thought they were blah, but came to really like later in the series.
