When I bought this cardigan, I searched Pinterest for ways to wear it, and found this pin. So, graphic tee, Chanel-esque cardigan, distressed jeans, ankle boots, and a little bling!
Here are the looks I’ve created for the Shop Your Closet Remix and Create28 Lovely Looks:
Sunday: Dress
Monday: Button down + jeans
Tuesday: Sleeveless blouse + cardigan
Wednesday: Graphic tee
Thursday: Casual top + jeans
Friday: Skirt + leggings
Saturday: Sweatshirt + Chucks
I honestly can’t wrap my mind around these wardrobe remixes. I can totally understand thematic dressing but remixing confuses the heck outta me. Or maybe it’s because it’s a Monday morning and my brain is not operational yet? Sigh…
Fave looks are every single one with Chucks, of course. 😀 Wait…are they camo Chucks?! Don’t even get me started! Btw, my plaid ones came yesterday – super excited that I DO fit into youth size 6 which means less expensive shoe shopping!

For this remix, I didn’t limit the number of clothes. I just gave myself some outfit formulas to work with.
Yep, I totally wore my camo “Chucks” (Payless) 3 days in a row. 😛 Yay for youth size plaid Chucks!

Sorry to intrude on your conversation but I’m loving this Create 28 “remix” because it doesn’t necessarily have to be a remix. Carrie is giving us a theme each day and we can technically follow the themes while still using all of our clothes. That’s what I’m doing, at least!
P.S. I love all of your looks, Selah, but I think my favorite is that striped shift dress!

No apologies necessary! Since Caitlin and Carrie are both really flexible, I just went with some self inflicted “rules” for the remixes. I think maybe Maricel is having trouble understanding the point of remixes? If so, I’d say they’re just a different kind of challenge – trying to come up with great outfits within certain guidelines.
I love that dress too!

I think it’s the number that’s throwing me off. “Create28” confused me. Then paired with “remix” threw me for an even bigger loop. I suppose I should do research before revealing ignorance, but I think I’ve got the rights of it now that Whitney’s explained. I should probably head over to Carrie’s and get more info…

Oh, okay. Well, you know how a lot of remixes are 30 x 30? 30 pieces for 30 days. Carrie’s remix is 28 days, because February, and she just made it rhyme. Here’s the info post:

Yep! Got it! And I agree with Whitney – I appreciate how Carrie gives multiple options to be linkup compliant. What fun! Of course, the OCD in me can’t jump onto the bandwagon now since I hadn’t begun from the very first day, but I shall certainly cheer you all on as you forge on!

Thanks, Gracey! I’ve had multiple Audrey Hepburn tees over the years but I think this one might be my favorite.
For a long time I thought of green as my mom’s and my sister’s color, since they both have green eyes. Now, of course, I realize that’s silly. I do tend to stick with bluer greens though, since they work well with my coloring. 🙂

Hi there! I’m new to remixing: this is my first go of participating with Caitlin. I ADORE that graphic tee, and the way you styled your dress w/jeans was a great idea!

Hi Chrissy! Welcome to remixing! I’m glad my Audrey tee is getting so much love! 🙂 It’s an older one from Old Navy, but they always seem to have an Audrey design. Skinny jeans under a dress is a newer thing for me, but I really like it!

I see some classic Selah style in these looks for sure. I really like that cardigan with the graphic tee. I think I have forgotten what a great look that can be. Thinking I need to pull out my graphics and pair with a cardigan for casual Friday at work. Thanks for linking up, friend!
