What on earth could be more luxurious than a sofa, a book, and a cup of coffee? – Anthony Trollope
Wordsmitten Wednesday: March
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
This was exactly our weather yesterday and I was commenting on it in just such a fashion with my carpool buddy! I love when things are expressed so eloquently and accurately. Ah, words! 😀
Oh, what a wonderful description! Not that it fits March as we’re experiencing it this year (so far) – cold and colder, and today with ice and snow. Definitely winter. But I can look forward to when it gets to that point!
I LOVE this quote! Good choice!

Not today here…but I know those March days of which Dickens speaks.

Yes, our weather is more winter one day, summer the next.
