I’m continuing my closet Cosplay of the Doctor’s companions with my personal favorite, Donna Noble:
Donna favors long tops and shades of purple (my fave!).
I’ve paired a long blouse with a purple cardigan and bootcut jeans (Donna was the Doctor’s companion in 2008 – everyone wore bootcut jeans!).
Obviously, this is getting linked up with Maricel @ My Closet Catalogue for TARDIS Tuesday!
I do need to revisit Donna. Although she’s my favorite Companion, I don’t have a strong sense of her style and I wanna give a shot at cosplaying her, especially now that you’ve done it yourself. And so brilliantly too! Bootcut jeans ftw indeed!

Dresses over jeans – specifically empire waist dresses over bootcut jeans – that’s Donna’s primary look. I played off this one because I love the colors so much!

Ah, but I bet she’s tall, yeah? Coz there is no way I could do a full dress over bootcuts without looking like a stumpy troll. ;p

She’s 5′ 7″.

What a pretty color combination! I really like how you injected some print and made it your own!

Funnily, I detested Donna when she first appeared, but she completely won me over in Partners in Crime. The lack of romance between her and 10 was refreshing, but at the same time the pair of them had incredible chemistry. I’m tearing up just thinking about her!

I was the same as Wendleberry – I really didn’t like her in Runaway Bride! But similarly loved her from her tenure as the assistant onwards.
This outfit is a really nice one and I could totally do this one (didn’t even think of Donna Noble as yet!!! Funny eh!) so thank you for a future inspiration! You look really lovely in the reverse of the colours- really nice top and PURPLE cardigan!!!x
