The adorable Erin @ Raised Reading did a fun meme awhile back. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to tweak it and use it for a series of Top Five Tuesday posts. I’m going to attempt a top five bookish list for all 26 letters of the alphabet (this could get a little dicey towards the end!).
Other posts in this series:
“A” “B” “C” “D” “E” “F” “G” “H” “I” “J” “K” “L” “M” “N” “O” “P”
Picture Book – Q is for Duck: An Alphabet Guessing Game by Mary Elting
Middle Grade Book – Quidditch Through the Ages by J. K. Rowling
YA or Adult Book – The Quiche of Death by M. C. Beaton
TBR – Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes
Author – Matthew Quick
Yea, I’ve read two of your Qs. The Quiche of Death (no surprise that I’ve read that one) and Don Quixote.

In all honesty, I read Q is for Duck and The Silver Linings Playbook (Matthew Quick) specifically for this post. Thankfully, I loved both! Of course, I just looked at Goodreads and saw Quick as a Cricket, which is one of my favorite picture books ever – how did I forget it!?!

Aww, the poor Cricket. Don’t try to read War and Peace just for W! That’s a book I’ve started twice and never made it through. Yet I love his Anna Karenina.

Haha, don’t worry, I’ve got W covered. It’s really only X that’s giving me fits. I need to read a picture book, an adult book (I found a cozy mystery that starts with X!) and find / read a middle grade book.
If I can do it for Q and Z, I can do it for X, right?

I can’t believe we are on “Q” already! My how the time flies!

I can’t either, especially since I only run this series when the Top Ten Tuesday topic doesn’t appeal to me. 😉
