The adorable Erin @ Raised Reading did a fun meme awhile back. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to tweak it and use it for a series of Top Five Tuesday posts. I’m going to attempt a top five bookish list for all 26 letters of the alphabet (this could get a little dicey towards the end!).

Picture Book – Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
Middle Grade Book – The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham
YA or Adult Book – Watership Down by Richard Adams
TBR – The Warden by Anthony Trollope
Author – T. H. White
You’ve got two of my favorites this week, Selah! Watership Down, I love it. And oh, The Warden – one of the first books by Trollope that I ever read and the one that started me reading the Barset set. Septimus Harding is such a dear soul. Now you’ve made me want to reread it, lol.

It was your recommendation that made me add The Warden to my TBR. 🙂 I’m planning to read it next year.

I’m going to check at LibriVox. There’s a good chance they have an audio version. That would be perfect for me since I’ve already read the book twice. It’s not one of Trollope’s terribly long ones either, although I probably told you that earlier.

My library has the digital audio narrated by Simon Vance. He’s one of my favorite narrators, so I’m planning to listen as well. 🙂
