TTT: Songs

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is “This week is all about music & books. We previously did books we’d give theme songs to so feel free to do that! Or 10 songs I wish that were books (check out my love songs I wish were books for an example of what I mean) — Thanks to the couple people who suggested making this one an official topic. I don’t know why I hadn’t…I think I thought my post WAS for TTT in my head when I thought back to it.”

This is how my weird brain works – book titles / covers often make me think of songs and said songs then get stuck in my head. For this list I am not including books that are purposefully named after songs (I’m looking at you cozy mysteries).

A lot of these made me last. I especially like when it totally makes sense why the book prompts the song but the song is TOTALLY different. I’m guessing Rebel Belle and Rebel Yell have very little in common:). My favorite is A Room With a View and A View to A Kill and only partially becuase I’m a long time Duranie. Great list for what I thought was a hard topic!

Your like on this post was my 1000th, so Thank You! 😀

I just finished listening to an audiobook of The King’s Speech by Mark Logue. It’s the research compiled by Lionel Logue’s grandson, deftly crafted into a duel biography of Logue and King George VI. You mentioned that your husband enjoys history books, so I thought I’d pass on a recommendation.
