A Goodreads friend rated it 5 stars, and I’m a “word nerd” and a teacher (and a Harry Potter fan – I can’t not say the title like Hermione), so it just seems appropriate.
I’m psyched to read Lauren Graham’s memoir. I’ve been marathoning Gilmore Girls since the beginning of Summer so I’m definitely in the mood for anything vaguely GG-related.
So psyched for the Lauren Graham book, too! I just finished her fiction book Someday Someday. Maybe and LOVED it, so i am sure her nonfiction book will be awesome as well. Can’t wait! Hope you enjoy it, too!
Great picks! Three of the four were new to me, and I put all three on my want-to-read list: Frogkisser, You’re Saying It Wrong, and Saving Hamlet. Thanks for sharing!
It has a way of doing that. 😉 I’m trying to shrink it a bit. I’ve donated or sold about 150 books so far this year… which is a drop in the bucket. But these three I’ll try to get through the library; I’ve stopped adding to the physical hoard unless I’m sure it’s a keep-and-reread. It’s not a question of needing more bookshelves; it’s a question of nowhere to put them! 😀
“You’re Saying it Wrong” looks interesting!

Have you read her novel,
Someday, Someday, Maybe
? The audiobook version is narrated by Lauren!

I haven’t read it. I might have to check out the audiobook in particular if she narrated it!

Someday, Someday, Maybe was such a surprise! I was very impressed with Lauren’s debut, and I’m sure this memoir will be just as good. 😊

Lol, does he say things wrong, or does he correct everyone else?

he says them wrong haha – it took me forever to convince him that it’s “all intents and purposes” instead of “all intensive purposes” 😉

Haha! My husband and I usually debate pronunciation based on regional differences (his family is from NY, I’m a Southern girl).

With two young kids I’m constantly correcting pronunciation (last night it was broccoli – she was saying Barack-oli 😂).
