Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is “Movie Freebie”
I’ve never been a stickler for reading the book first. In fact, given that the book is usually better, reading the book first can often ruin an otherwise good movie experience. And a good, or even a bad, movie can lead you to a great book, which can lead you to a great author! So, here’s a list of movies that led me to some of my favorite authors:

A great take on the topic this week! I usually like to read the book first, but sometimes movies do lead to a great author! Although in the case of Harry Potter, it’s a rule at our house that you have to have read the book before you see the film. Spoilers! 🙂

Great list! Anne of Green Gables is absolutely one of my favorite adaptations ever. Even the soundtrack gives me warm fuzzies : )

Have you heard that Netflix is doing a new Anne show? It’s hard to imagine anything better than the Megan Follows version, but the new actress does look the part:
