I saw this tag over at Nut Free Nerd and decided to do it, just for fun. Since I wasn’t officially tagged, I’m not worrying about the “rules”, except the one that says I have to choose THIS or THAT. 😛
Reading on the couch or on the bed?
The couch. I even have a loveseat in my bedroom where I read at night.
Male main character or female main character?
I don’t have a strong preference either way, so I’ll go with female. Female characters are easier for me to relate to.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
Sweet. My current go-to are Pepperidge Farm Gingerman Cookies.
Trilogies or quartets?
I tend to read standalones or long series (way more than 4 books), so I’ll go with quartets.
First person point of view or third person point of view?
First person. I dig stream-of-consciousness narration.
Reading at night or in the morning?
All day! I have to choose one? Fine, at night.
Libraries or bookstores?
Libraries, for sure! I have visited the library at least once per week for practically my entire life (thanks, Mom!). My first job was at the library, and when my kids are grown, I’ll probably apply there again.
Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
Cry. If a book can leave me snot nosed, I’m happy.
Black book covers or white book covers?
After a quick scan of my Instagram likes, I’m going to say white. My real preference is color!
Character driven or plot driven stories?
Character driven, for sure. A good plot is important, but I need to feel something for the characters!
I’m so glad you decided to do this tag!! I agree with a lot of your answers, especially having character driven stories. If the characters don’t have depth or development then the story tends to feel really flat.

I wonder if loving characters is why I love to re-read? Re-reading is rarely about the plot for me. I miss the characters and want to visit them again.

This is so fun! It was interesting to think of my own answers along the way.
