I don’t usually do it either, but I saw a lot of outrage on Instagram lately that reminded me of this. JM is a friend, a former pastor at my church, and a Bible nerd, as he likes to say.

Glad to know that this is not entirely blasphemous because I use it pretty frequently and don’t mean it to be disrespectful. Plus I’m always interested in the etymology and story behind words and “slang”. Thanks for sharing – I like learning!
