Elementary, She Read (A Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mystery #1)Elementary, She Read by Vicki Delany (audiobook / library)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I *really* enjoyed this one! Gemma is endearing, the mystery is solid, and I figured it out at exactly the same time Gemma did (I hate figuring it out before the detective, and I really hate not figuring it out at all).

Ordeal by InnocenceOrdeal by Innocence by Agatha Christie (physical / own)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I figured it out! I stopped reading and saved the final chapter to give me time to noodle it out, and it paid off. This was a much more psychological mystery than Christie usually writes, which dated it, I felt. I loved the King Lear reference, since I *just* read Lear for the first time!

By Book or By Crook (Lighthouse Library Mystery #1)By Book or By Crook by Eva Gates (audiobook / library)
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Perfectly fine, fluffy cozy. I got tired of the heroine stuffing her face with junk food and complaining about her hips, while being courted by two hot guys. Just shut up already.
