It’s so fun when Christie does spy novels! T&T aren’t my favorite Christie creations (Poirot!) but they’re a lot of fun. I prefer the older versions of T&T, starting in the 3rd book.
Hercule Poirot mysteries

These are not my favorite Poirot novels. The first two have too many coincidences and not enough Poirot. The 3rd and 4th books pictured aren’t actually written by Christie and it shows.

Much better than the Miss Marple short stories, and Emilia Fox’s narration is perfect!
The Secret of Chimneys

Maybe it’s because I’ve been bingeing on AC, but I figured out most of the secrets and surprises early on. Also, it seems odd that this is billed as a Superintendent Battle mystery – he’s barely in it. Lastly, I *love* Hugh Fraser’s voice and narration, but his voice for the French policeman was exactly the same as his Poirot voice and it kept throwing me.
Crooked House

I remember being completely surprised with the solution to this book when I first read it. I think I enjoyed it even more the second time. It’s fun to see all the clues that I missed before. Christie is *such* a genius!
