The adorable Erin @ Raised Reading did a fun meme awhile back. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to tweak it and use it for a series of Top Five Tuesday posts. I’m going to attempt a top five bookish list for all 26 letters of the alphabet (this could get a little dicey towards the end!).
Other posts in this series:
“A” “B” “C” “D” “E” “F” “G” “H” “I”
Picture Book – Just Being Audrey by Margaret Cardillo
Middle Grade Book – James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
YA or Adult Book – Jane Austen Cover to Cover: 200 Years of Classic Book Covers by Margaret C. Sullivan
I wrote a guest post today for Katie @ Bookish Illuminations’ Falling in Love With Books series. It’s about this very book – go check it out!
TBR – Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
Author – William Joyce
I love this idea of the A-Z bookish post! I may have to try it myself sometime….So excited to host you on the blog today! Love the book and the TEA PARTY!

It makes for a fun challenge and a great filler for weeks when I don’t want to do Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks for including me! I had a lot of fun writing the post. 🙂

Is that your actual tea pot? Do you have the entire set? Did you buy it before or after you became a Janeite? Do your kids drink real tea? What a fun tradition!

Well, my actual teapot looks exactly like that, but the photo is from an online seller. Yes, I have an entire set – teapot, cream pitcher, sugar bowl, salt and pepper shakers, and place settings for 4. I bought the set after becoming a Janeite, but I’ve been obsessed with Blue Willow dishes since childhood (I have a HUGE collection). No, my kids drink apple juice because it’s the right color. 😉

Oh my gosh! I loved those Blue Willow dishes. Never got a complete set and the few I had are long gone. I was moving so much in my early married life that I had to go with Melmac.

Mine are mostly from Johnson Brothers or Churchill. They have the gorgeous pattern, but they’re dishwasher and microwave safe. We eat on Blue Willow everyday. My kids can even tell you the legend! 🙂

I never even thought of that. Thanks for the tip!
